Code Block
Scroll Hint
A code block with horizontal scrolling and an honest hint about it: the edge shade and the caption fade out as the reader scrolls.
What you can change
- the block code through code and the heading through title
- the hint text through hint
- the shade width and the animation-range span

For developers
The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-011-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The scroll area declares a named scroll-timeline, the root exposes it through timeline-scope, and the shading and the hint are faded out by an animation bound to that timeline — there are no scroll handlers in JS. Everything is wrapped in @supports (animation-timeline: scroll()): without support the hint simply stays visible. The scroll area gets a tabIndex and role=region, otherwise it cannot be reached from the keyboard. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the block has no surface by default, and the edge shading is drawn with a translucent gradient, so it works over any page background.
