Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-025-* variables. Server component: the state is held by a native checkbox, and the root :has(input:checked) selector moves the code area from the collapsed block height to the expansion limit. Both heights arrive as props and go into CSS variables, so the max-height animation runs between two known values rather than up to auto. The bottom edge mask is on only in the collapsed state, and the toggle caption is swapped by a pair of spans hidden through :has().
