Postcard gallery that flips to the back

Couple photos as postcards: on cream card with a tape strip and a handwritten caption; a click flips the card — on the back, ruled lines, a stamp, a round postmark with the city and date, the postcard text and an address. A masonry layout with three card shapes.

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

One file, zero dependencies, “use client” for the flip (a Set of flipped indices in state). A card is a <button aria-pressed> with perspective, inside [data-part=inner] with transform-style:preserve-3d and rotateY(180deg) on data-flipped; front and back are backface-visibility:hidden. The back is a 1.2fr/1fr grid with a ::before vertical line, handwritten text, a stamp (dashed frame) on the right, an SVG postmark with city and date and three address lines. Shapes: wide 3:2, tall 4:5, square 1:1. CSS columns: 2 below 40rem, 3 below 64rem, 4 above. Palette --vibeui-portfolio-009-* is neutral: ink and paper via light-dark(), the site colours come through the accent, ink and background props; dark theme via .dark/[data-theme] or tone. Oswald, Lobster and Manrope come via <link precedence> from Google Fonts with system fallbacks. accent and background override colours, prefers-reduced-motion disables animations.
