Batch Progress

One bar for the whole batch: what matters is how long is left, while the per-file detail hides inside a disclosure list.

What you can change

  • the title above the bar
  • done and total — how many files are finished and how many there are
  • the entries array of file names and states

For developers

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-file-007-* variables. Server component: the disclosure is held by a native <details>, there is no state and no hydration either. The overall share is shown by a native <progress> with max set to the number of files and an aria-label of the form "Uploaded N of M", and the percentage is computed from the same numbers. The file list lies inside the <details> and takes no space until it is needed. File states are stored under the done, active and queued keys, while the visible captions arrive through the stateText dictionary. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the summary has no surface by default, it sits directly on the page background and darkens with it, while the background prop turns on a surface of its own.
