Aspect Ratio
Ratio Frame
A frame with a fixed ratio that holds the space until the content loads. The ratio arrives as a variable rather than a class — "16 / 9" is data.
What you can change
- ratio — any proportion as a string: "16 / 9", "4 / 3", "1 / 1"
- children — an img, video, iframe or your own markup
- label — the empty-frame caption

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-aspect-001-*. The ratio arrives as a prop into the --vibeui-aspect-001-ratio variable and is substituted into aspect-ratio: breeding a class per proportion means deciding in advance for the user which ones they will need. Direct img, video and iframe children stretch across the whole frame with object-fit:cover. An empty frame shows hatching and a label so that it does not look broken. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the frame has no background by default, it sits on the page background and darkens with it, and the background prop turns the fill on.
