Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-avatar-015-* variables. Client-side: "use client", with useState and useRef holding the selected action and a reference to the popover. The menu is a native HTML popover with popovertarget: closing on Escape and on an outside click comes from the browser rather than being written by hand. The positioning uses CSS anchor positioning under @supports (anchor-name: --a) with an ordinary absolute fallback. The edit button is scaled down and moved into the corner, and its accessible caption names the person — in a list of cards "change photo" without a name is useless. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the dark branch is not an inversion of the light one — the circle fill, the rings and the statuses each have their own pair of lightnesses.
