Carousel

Anchor Deck

A carousel with arrows and no JS at all: each slide carries its own pair of arrows pointing at the neighbouring anchors, so the component never needs to know the current position.

What you can change

  • the slides through cards: title, text and hue
  • the carousel label through label and the block role through roleDescription
  • the id base through idPrefix

For developers

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-carousel-014-* variables. Server component: no hooks at all. Scrolling and stopping are held by scroll-snap-type: x mandatory with scroll-snap-stop: always, so the rail does not skip past a slide. The arrows are ordinary links to the ids of the neighbouring slides: the browser reaches the right one itself, and "previous" and "next" are known at render. The ids are built from the idPrefix prop so that two blocks on one page do not break each other's anchors.
