Phone Input
Digit Meter
A phone field with a length check: a row of dots under the input shows how many of the expected digits are typed, so a missing one is obvious.
What you can change
- the field name through label, the country code through code and the target length through expected
- the fill color through accent
- the completed-state color through the --vibeui-phoneinput-003-done variable

Technical notes
A client component: the field value lives in useState, and only the digits are counted from it. One file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-phoneinput-003-* variables. A row of dots sits under the field — one per expected digit; the typed ones are filled with the accent, and on an exact length match the whole row, the border and the status line turn green. The status line is marked aria-live="polite" and tied to the field through aria-describedby, so the progress is heard and not only seen. The dots are marked aria-hidden: duplicating the status text with geometry is pointless for speech. Separators are ignored when counting, so a paste from the clipboard in any format is counted correctly.
