Half Stars
Half stars without a line of JS: the fill is a stripe over the grey row, and its width comes from the checked radio through :has().
What you can change
- legend — the question above the row
- name — the radio group name in the form
- defaultValue — the pre-selected score

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-rating-002-* variables. Server component: everything rests on radio buttons and :has(). The halves are made not from cut-up stars but from a fill stripe over the grey row — any granularity comes down to a single percentage in the --vibeui-rating-002-fill variable. The hit zones are ten transparent labels half a star wide, positioned absolutely over the row; a mouse selection lands on a half, while the arrow keys work as in an ordinary radio group.
