For developers

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-timeline-002-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The avatar hue is computed from the name by a function built on an FNV hash, so one person always gets the same circle and is recognised in the feed as a recurring patch of colour. The feed line is drawn by the row's pseudo-element rather than a separate column: it stops at the last avatar and does not dangle below the list. The time is moved into the grid's third column with font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums — in a feed of twenty rows the digits have to stand on one vertical. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the block has no surface by default, it sits on the page background and darkens along with it.
