FAQ

Chip Filter FAQ

A FAQ with category filtering: chips on top switch the list through CSS rules on radio buttons, and the answers open with native details — no JS.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the groups array — the categories and the questions inside each (up to four categories)
  • the eyebrow, title and allLabel copy — the label of the "show everything" chip
  • id — the radio group name; two such blocks on one page need different ids

Built from

The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ

How do I add Chip Filter FAQ with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Chip Filter FAQ depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: accordion-007, heading-001.
What can I change in Chip Filter FAQ?
Adapt: the groups array — the categories and the questions inside each (up to four categories); the eyebrow, title and allLabel copy — the label of the "show everything" chip; id — the radio group name; two such blocks on one page need different ids. Keep as installed: the accordion-007, heading-001 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-faq-007-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-card, border-border and the like); the filter radios as visually-hidden rather than display:none: elements hidden that way fall out of the focus order and the chips stop switching from the keyboard.
Is Chip Filter FAQ free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports accordion-007, heading-001 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The block is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-faq-007-*. A server component. The chips are labels of radio buttons in a single group: the radios are hidden visually-hidden but stay in the focus order, and the chosen category hides the other questions through :nth-of-type(n):checked ~ rules. Four categories plus the "All" chip are supported — more requires writing further rules. The list holds native details with a plus sign built from pseudo-elements; each question row carries its category label so the "All" view stays readable.
