Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-checkbox-014-* variables. A client component: "use client". The tasks are split into two lists by state, and the finished ones sit in a native <details> — the collapsing works without JS and is reachable from the keyboard. Above them is the progress bar: a span with a width in percent and role="progressbar" with aria-valuenow. The <summary> marker is removed and the arrow is drawn with a pseudo-element. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the component lays no panel under itself, sits directly on the page background and darkens along with it; the background prop brings the panel back.
