For developers
The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-hovercard-005-* variables. Client-side only for the sake of Escape: the handler removes focus from the trigger and the card, held open by :focus-within, closes — the reveal itself stays in CSS. The reveal rests on :hover and :focus-visible of the abbreviation itself inside the wrapper. The abbreviation stays an inline element with tabIndex=0 — not a link and not a button, so the setting of the text is not broken. The card is marked with the tooltip role and linked through aria-describedby. The left edge is coloured with the accent: this marks a glossary entry rather than a notification.
