FAQ

How do I add Glossary Card with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Glossary Card depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Glossary Card?
Adapt: the abbreviation through term and its expansion through full; the definition through definition and the section through category; the related words through related. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-hovercard-005-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the abbreviation as an inline element: a link or button mid-paragraph breaks the setting; tabIndex=0 together with aria-describedby — otherwise the entry is unreachable by keyboard.
Is Glossary Card free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/hovercard-005.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-hovercard-005-* variables. Client-side only for the sake of Escape: the handler removes focus from the trigger and the card, held open by :focus-within, closes — the reveal itself stays in CSS. The reveal rests on :hover and :focus-visible of the abbreviation itself inside the wrapper. The abbreviation stays an inline element with tabIndex=0 — not a link and not a button, so the setting of the text is not broken. The card is marked with the tooltip role and linked through aria-describedby. The left edge is coloured with the accent: this marks a glossary entry rather than a notification.
