For developers

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, a palette in local variables --vibeui-label-001-*. It is a server component: useId is the only hook, there is no state. The asterisk is marked aria-hidden, and its meaning is carried by the visually hidden text «, required field» — otherwise a screen reader says «asterisk» and leaves the rest to guesswork. The explanation line is tied to the field through aria-describedby, so it is read right after the field name instead of being lost. The field gets the native required: browser validation stays working. The palette is built on light-dark(): the block follows the surrounding color-scheme and by default lays no plate under itself — a surface appears only through the background prop, and color-scheme is set at the same time to match its lightness.
