Technical notes
A client component: useState holds the selected reason and the text of the custom answer. The textarea is not hidden but disabled — a vanishing field jolts the form and hides the very option of explaining the reason in words; disabled also takes it out of the Tab order. The character counter appears only while the field is active. The palette is in --vibeui-radio-017-*.
