Skeleton

List Rows Skeleton

A list skeleton whose rows come alive in a wave: each row carries its own animation delay, so the shimmer travels top to bottom and the list reads as one object, not a pile of blinking bars.

What you can change

  • the row count through rows
  • the screen-reader caption through label
  • the row height and avatar size in CSS

For developers

The install command lives in the “Component source” block below — a signed link that stays valid for 24 hours.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-skeleton-003-*. It is a server component: there are no hooks. The delay is passed to a row by the inline --vibeui-skeleton-003-delay variable and picked up by the animation-delay rule, so the number of rows can be changed by a prop without touching the CSS. The widths of the text bars alternate through :nth-child: identical rectangles read as a table rather than as a list of people. The avatar and the bars share one fill rule so that the shimmer travels across the whole row. The root is marked with role="status" and aria-busy; under prefers-reduced-motion the shimmer is removed and a flat fill remains.
