No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Vertical Tabs?
Adapt: the items array: labels, hints and panel content; defaultId — which section starts open; the list column width and the rearranging threshold. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-tabs-005-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-muted, text-muted-foreground and the like); aria-orientation="vertical" together with vertical arrows: horizontal arrows mean nothing in a vertical list and belong to the browser; the bar at the edge of the active tab: next to a hover state a fill alone is not enough to tell the selection apart.
Is Vertical Tabs free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-tabs-005-* variables. A client component: "use client" for the selected tab and for the keyboard. The list is marked aria-orientation="vertical", and the arrows are vertical accordingly: up and down, plus Home and End. The two columns appear through a container query on the inner [data-part="shell"], because a rule inside @container does not apply to the container itself; in a narrow block the list lies above the content.
