About
Timeline History
A company timeline for an About page: years on a vertical axis, dots and short stories. Change the years, the headings and the copy — add as many milestones as you need.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the items array — the year, heading and text of every milestone
- eyebrow and title — the eyebrow and the section heading
- the accent through the accent prop — it colours the years, the dots and the halo
Built from
The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ
- How do I add Timeline History with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Timeline History depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: card-025, heading-001.
- What can I change in Timeline History?
- Adapt: the items array — the year, heading and text of every milestone; eyebrow and title — the eyebrow and the section heading; the accent through the accent prop — it colours the years, the dots and the halo. Keep as installed: the card-025, heading-001 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-about-002-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-card, border-border and the like); the <ol>/<li> markup: a chronology is an ordered list and a screen reader must announce it as one.
- Is Timeline History free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports card-025, heading-001 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The block is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, its palette in local variables --vibeui-about-002-*. A server component. The chronology is an honest <ol>: the axis and the accent dots are drawn with li pseudo-elements, so without styles the list stays a readable sequence of milestones. In a narrow container the year sits above the heading with the axis on the left; from 44rem of the block's own width the year moves into a right-aligned left column and the axis lands between the year and the text — the dot coordinates are set in rem and do not depend on content. The line of the last milestone is hidden so the axis does not leak into emptiness.
