Issue Cards

A grid of journal issues with covers made of the brand accent gradient: a large issue number instead of illustrations, so publishing never waits for a designer.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the posts array: number, title, excerpt, date and reading time
  • eyebrow and title above the grid
  • issueLabel — the caption next to the number on the cover

Built from

The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ

How do I add Issue Cards with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Issue Cards depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: heading-001.
What can I change in Issue Cards?
Adapt: the posts array: number, title, excerpt, date and reading time; eyebrow and title above the grid; issueLabel — the caption next to the number on the cover. Keep as installed: the heading-001 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-blog-007-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the gradient cover with the issue number: seriality is visible at once, and publishing never waits for an illustrator.
Is Issue Cards free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports heading-001 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The block is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-blog-007-*. A server component: there are no hooks. The cover is a linear gradient of three accent stops, the issue number is pressed in with translucent dark ink, and there are no assets or images at all. The heading link is stretched over the whole card with ::after, and :focus-within holds the ring. Two and three columns are turned on by a container query.
