Featured Post

One large article announcement: a gradient cover on the left and, next to the author, the reading time and word count — the question people ask before clicking.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • title, excerpt and the topic of the announcement
  • badge, coverLabel and the hue value
  • author, role, date, readingTime and words

Built from

The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ

How do I add Featured Post with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Featured Post depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: avatar-001.
What can I change in Featured Post?
Adapt: title, excerpt and the topic of the announcement; badge, coverLabel and the hue value; author, role, date, readingTime and words. Keep as installed: the avatar-001 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-blog-003-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the reading time next to the author: it is the last question before a click, not a footer detail.
Is Featured Post free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports avatar-001 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The block is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-blog-003-*. A server component: there are no hooks. The cover is assembled from layers of radial gradients over a linear one, and the hue is set by the hue number. The heading link is stretched over the whole card with ::after, and :focus-within holds the ring state. The two-column layout is turned on by a container query; on a narrow block the cover becomes horizontal.
