Article Hero

A post hero: a topic tag, a large heading, a lede and an author line with date and reading time; on top — a decorative accent reading-progress bar.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • topic, title and lede
  • author, role, date and readingTime
  • progress — the bar width in percent

Built from

The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ

How do I add Article Hero with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Article Hero depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: avatar-001, heading-001.
What can I change in Article Hero?
Adapt: topic, title and lede; author, role, date and readingTime; progress — the bar width in percent. Keep as installed: the avatar-001, heading-001 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-blog-013-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the h1 at the root: this is the article page header, a second h1 on the page is not allowed.
Is Article Hero free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports avatar-001, heading-001 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The block is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-blog-013-*. A server component: the progress bar is static and decorative — its width is set by the progress prop in percent, and live progress needs a scroll listener, which stays with the caller. The root is a <header> with an h1: the block is meant for the top of an article page. The avatar is initials on a warm fill, and the bar is hidden with aria-hidden.
