Command
Inline Palette
A palette embedded in the page with groups and the full combobox contract: the field, the listbox and aria-activedescendant are all wired by hand.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the commands array and the group names
- the field hint through the placeholder prop
- the palette name through the label prop

FAQ
- How do I add Inline Palette with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Inline Palette depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Inline Palette?
- Adapt: the commands array and the group names; the field hint through the placeholder prop; the palette name through the label prop. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-command-002-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the role=combobox, role=listbox and aria-activedescendant trio: focus stays in the field, and without it the highlight is unannounced; arrow order following the visible list rather than the source array — grouping changes it.
- Is Inline Palette free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/command-002.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-command-002-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of search and the keyboard. The panel is not modal, so the whole ARIA contract is declared explicitly: role=dialog on the root, role=combobox with aria-expanded and aria-controls on the field, role=listbox on the list, role=group on the groups, role=option on the rows. Focus stays in the field and the highlight is passed through aria-activedescendant. The arrows walk the flat visible order — after grouping it does not match the source array.
