Command
Multiple Selection
A palette with multiple selection: Space checks a row without closing the list, a footer counter tracks the total, and Enter applies the whole set at once.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Multiple Selection with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Multiple Selection depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Multiple Selection?
- Adapt: the items array and the initial picks through defaultSelected; the field hint through the placeholder prop; applyLabel and countText — the button wording and the counter line. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-command-012-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; aria-multiselectable="true" on the list: without it a screen reader announces a single choice; aria-selected (the check) kept apart from data-active (the arrow highlight) — those are two different row states.
- Is Multiple Selection free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-command-012-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of picks, arrows and the filter. The list carries aria-multiselectable="true", and rows carry aria-selected for the actual pick rather than the highlight — those are different states, and the highlight is passed through the separate data-active attribute. The check mark is drawn inside the row rather than a native checkbox, so the whole row is the click target. Space accumulates picks without closing the panel, Enter applies the whole set at once, and the footer with the counter and the Apply button stays visible above any filter.
