Labelled Stops

A range over labelled stops: "studio" and "5 or more" are not numbers, yet they sit on one scale that has no in-between values.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • label — the filter caption
  • stops — the stops themselves and their captions
  • defaultFrom and defaultTo — the starting stop indexes

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Labelled Stops with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Labelled Stops depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Labelled Stops?
Adapt: label — the filter caption; stops — the stops themselves and their captions; defaultFrom and defaultTo — the starting stop indexes. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-range-005-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; light-dark() in the palette: the component has to follow the surrounding color-scheme rather than ship a dark theme of its own; the transparent surface by default — the component sits on the page background instead of laying a panel under itself.
Is Labelled Stops free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/range-005.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-range-005-* variables. Client-side: state holds stop numbers, and the captions are taken from an array by index. The step equals one, so landing between the stops is impossible with either the mouse or the arrow keys. The captions are aligned to the stop centres: the slider area gets half-stop gutters through the --vibeui-range-005-gutter variable, otherwise the outer captions run off the track edges. Each slider is given an aria-valuetext, so a screen reader announces the word rather than the number.
