Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-042-* variables. It is a client component: useState holds "up", "down" or null; the mutual exclusion is done in the handler, because a radio cannot be unchecked without a third button. The state is declared through aria-pressed on each button. A cast vote is marked by more than colour: the glyph gains a fill (fill:currentColor), and that works for colour blindness. The score stands between the buttons, is set in tabular figures and has a min-width, so crossing zero and the appearance of a minus sign do not move the buttons. The score is announced with aria-live="polite": a changing number would otherwise go unnoticed.
