Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-052-* variables. It is a server component: the choice is held by radios inside a fieldset. Both glyphs — the original one and the tick — lie in [data-part="icons"] in the same grid cell (grid-area:1 / 1), so the replacement does not move the caption; the transition is made on opacity and scale so that the tick arrives in the icon's place rather than flashing beside it. The technique applies only where the choice really is single: a tick is the universal sign for "done", and in a multi-select it tells a lie. The borders are collapsed, the rounded corners go to the edge ones only, and focus raises z-index:2.
