Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-cascader-008-* variables. Server-side: no hooks, the levels are opened by a native details and the choice is made by radios sharing one name, so the tree submits as an ordinary form even without JavaScript. The rule details:has(input:checked) > summary highlights the whole chain of parents: with collapsed levels there is otherwise no way to see where the tick is. The heading is a paragraph rather than a legend: a floated legend breaks the flow of neighbouring flex children. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the panel has no surface of its own by default, it sits directly on the page background and darkens with it.
