FAQ

How do I add Star Rating Reviews with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Star Rating Reviews depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: card-028.
What can I change in Star Rating Reviews?
Adapt: average and total — the average score and the review-count caption; summaryTitle — the sentence next to the average; averageLabel and ratingLabel — the screen-reader captions of the star rows; {value} is replaced with the score. Keep as installed: the card-028 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-testimonials-005-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; role="img" with the score written into aria-label on every star row: without it a screen reader reads five nameless elements.
Is Star Rating Reviews free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports card-028 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The block is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-testimonials-005-*. A server component. The star is a clip-path shape rather than a font glyph: it is identical across systems and takes its colour from a variable. A half rating is made with a linear gradient with a hard stop at 50 %, and the state is passed through the data-filled attribute. Every row of stars is marked role="img" with the score as text in aria-label — otherwise a screen reader reads out five identical empty elements. The number of columns is computed from the block's own width.
