Reviews as two opposing tickers with video

Reviews as an endless ticker: two rows of cards travel toward each other, paused on hover, edges dissolve. A card with a video review opens a lightbox with a player. A total score with stars top left. The name links to a profile, the cohort as a tag.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ

How do I add Reviews as two opposing tickers with video with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Reviews as two opposing tickers with video depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: card-108.
What can I change in Reviews as two opposing tickers with video?
Adapt: items: quotes, names, roles, photos, profile links, video and preview, cohorts; score, scoreLabel, videoLabel, closeLabel; eyebrow, title, lede; accent and background, tone. Keep as installed: the card-108 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; two opposing rows paused on hover with dissolving edges; the <dialog> lightbox for a video review — no leaving the page.
Is Reviews as two opposing tickers with video free?
The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports card-108 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. One file, zero npm dependencies, “use client” for the lightbox. Rows are items split in half (with ≤3 reviews both rows show all); each row is a track with two <ul> copies (the second aria-hidden, links tabIndex=-1), @keyframes translateX(-50 %) lasting max(30 s, n×14 s), the second row animation-direction:reverse, paused on :hover and :focus-within, edges via mask-image. The lightbox is a <dialog> with showModal(): a link to mp4/webm/mov → <video controls autoplay>, otherwise <iframe allow=autoplay>; a click on the backdrop and Escape close it, onClose resets state. reduced-motion: rows become a wrapping grid without copies. Palette --vibeui-testimonials-018-* is neutral: ink and paper via light-dark(), the site colours come through the accent, ink and background props; Unbounded and Inter via <link precedence> from Google Fonts with system fallbacks. tone pins the scheme, accent, ink and background override colours.
