Filter Chips

Filter chips as buttons: state lives in aria-pressed, and the selected one also carries a tick — not colour alone.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the options array and the initial defaultValue
  • the onChange handler
  • the accent through the accent prop

FAQ

How do I add Filter Chips with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Filter Chips depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Filter Chips?
Adapt: the options array and the initial defaultValue; the onChange handler; the accent through the accent prop. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-badge-011-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; buttons with aria-pressed instead of links: a filter changes the selection, not the URL; styling the selected state through [aria-pressed="true"] — state and appearance cannot drift apart.
Is Filter Chips free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/badge-011.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-badge-011-* variables. Client component: "use client". Every chip is a <button> with aria-pressed rather than a link: the address does not change, the state is toggled in place. The selected state is styled by a selector on aria-pressed, so the markup and the accessibility cannot drift apart. The colours of a selected chip are computed from the accent through color-mix.
