Number Range

A range in numbers rather than on a slider: quick presets on top, two fields below, and flipped bounds that swap themselves on blur.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the title and the unit shown in the labels
  • the presets array — your own common ranges
  • the onChange handler: it receives an object with from and to

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Number Range with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Number Range depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Number Range?
Adapt: the title and the unit shown in the labels; the presets array — your own common ranges; the onChange handler: it receives an object with from and to. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-filters-004-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-muted, border-input and the like); text inputs instead of a slider: exact bounds cannot be dragged, and a slider is awkward from the keyboard; swapping the bounds on blur instead of raising an error — the user already sees the mix-up and does not need another step.
Is Number Range free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/filters-004.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-filters-004-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the values and the presets. The presets are buttons with aria-pressed; they light up when both fields match the set. The bounds are swapped in the onBlur handler instead of being flagged as an error: a mixed-up «from» and «to» is something the user already sees. The summary sits in role="status" and restates the result in words.
