How do I add Value Search with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Value Search depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Value Search?
Adapt: the title and the placeholder text in the search field; the values array — your own filter values; the onChange handler: it receives the list of checked values. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-filters-006-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-muted, border-input and the like); pinning the checked values on top: a tick that vanishes because of a query reads as unticked; the divider between pinned and the rest — without it it is unclear why the first rows do not match the query.
Is Value Search free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-filters-006-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the query and the ticks. The search narrows only the value list, not the results; the checked items are computed separately and are always output on top with a divider, even when they do not match the query — otherwise a tick disappears from the screen and reads as unticked. The «showing N of M» counter sits in role="status".
