Date Presets

A period picked in words: "last 7 days" and "this quarter" come first, and the date pair only appears under "custom range" — in pure CSS.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the title and the presets array of your own periods
  • the customLabel caption for the custom range option
  • the name prop: the form field names are built from it

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Date Presets with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Date Presets depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Date Presets?
Adapt: the title and the presets array of your own periods; the customLabel caption for the custom range option; the name prop: the form field names are built from it. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-filters-005-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-accent, border-input and the like); the presets ahead of the calendar: "last 7 days" and "this quarter" cover almost every report; unfolding the date pair through :has on data-choice — that is what keeps the component server-side and state-free.
Is Date Presets free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/filters-005.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-filters-005-* variables. Server-side: the presets are radio buttons inside a <fieldset> with a <legend>, and the date pair is shown by a :has selector keyed to the checked radio button with data-choice="custom". There is no state, so empty date fields neither get in the way nor go into the form without need. The radio buttons are drawn through appearance:none with border thickness.
