Check On Active
Segments whose icon turns into a tick when selected: both glyphs share one grid cell, so the caption never shifts by a pixel.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Check On Active with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Check On Active depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Check On Active?
- Adapt: the options and their icons through options; the initially selected option through defaultValue; the accessible group name through label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-buttongroup-052-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; both glyphs in one grid cell: a tick appearing beside the icon would shift the whole row; the opacity and scale transition — that is what makes it read as a replacement, not a flash.
- Is Check On Active free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the --vibeui-buttongroup-052-* variables. It is a server component: the choice is held by radios inside a fieldset. Both glyphs — the original one and the tick — lie in [data-part="icons"] in the same grid cell (grid-area:1 / 1), so the replacement does not move the caption; the transition is made on opacity and scale so that the tick arrives in the icon's place rather than flashing beside it. The technique applies only where the choice really is single: a tick is the universal sign for "done", and in a multi-select it tells a lie. The borders are collapsed, the rounded corners go to the edge ones only, and focus raises z-index:2.
