Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-combobox-013-* variables. Client component: the query, the active section and the value live in useState. The layout is a two-column grid, and the left column scrolls separately from the right. The key mechanism is in useMemo: while the query is empty the right column shows the items of the active section, and once the query is non-empty the list is assembled with a flatMap over every section and each row gains a section caption [data-part="where"] — so the search does not break the hierarchy but temporarily flattens it. The left column is hidden with the hidden attribute rather than by unmounting, so the width does not twitch. ARIA: an input with role="combobox", the right column a role="listbox", the rows buttons with role="option" inside li role="none", so the keyboard works without managing activedescendant by hand.
