Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-combobox-016-* variables. Client component: the array of selected values and the query live in useState. The "limit reached" flag is raised to the root as a data-full attribute, so the counter and the note are recoloured by one CSS rule without duplicating the logic in JSX. At the cap the unselected options get the native disabled — they drop out of the tab order, and the ban is announced by a screen reader rather than merely shown in colour. The list is marked aria-multiselectable, and the selected values are additionally shown as chips above, each with a remove button. The note below is linked to the field through aria-describedby and announced through aria-live.
