Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-combobox-023-* variables. Client component: the query and the value live in useState. The highlight function slices the string with an indexOf loop, finding every occurrence in turn and wrapping each one in a semantic <mark> rather than only the first, as in the ranked variant — dangerouslySetInnerHTML is not used. The list is not sorted: the row order equals the order of options, and only the presence of a match is filtered. The line with the match count in an aria-live="polite" region announces the change of the result set on every keystroke.
