About as a bento: portrait, counting numbers, cities and a draft
An “about” section on thin rules, like book spreads: a tall portrait tile, a biography with a drop cap, three numbers that count up when they enter the viewport (IntersectionObserver + requestAnimationFrame), a route of cities with years, “writing now” with a draft-progress bar, a wide desk tile and an italic fact tile. Without photos the tiles become typographic.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add About as a bento: portrait, counting numbers, cities and a draft with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does About as a bento: portrait, counting numbers, cities and a draft depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in About as a bento: portrait, counting numbers, cities and a draft?
- Adapt: eyebrow, title, portrait, desk, deskNote; bio, numbers: value, label, suffix; cities: name, years; fact; nowTitle, nowNote, nowPercent. Keep as installed: the imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the grid is [data-part=grid] with gap:1px and a rule-coloured background; one column below 44rem, two with grid-auto-flow:dense at 44–64rem, four from 64rem: portrait data-tall (2 rows), bio/numbers/fact data-span=2, desk data-wide; numbers: an IntersectionObserver on the root (threshold .25) fires requestAnimationFrame once with easing 1−(1−t)^4 over 1.8 s, formatted with thin spaces.
- Is About as a bento: portrait, counting numbers, cities and a draft free?
- The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone.
