Header with a bulb garland and a snow switch

A winter-wedding header: a garland of bulbs sags along the bottom edge with a rare warm twinkle, a snowflake monogram and handwritten names on the left, small-caps sections in the middle, a snow switch, click-to-play music and “RSVP” on the right. Transparent over the hero photo; on scroll it settles on frosted glass and the garland goes out.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ

How do I add Header with a bulb garland and a snow switch with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Header with a bulb garland and a snow switch depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: button-016.
What can I change in Header with a bulb garland and a snow switch?
Adapt: initials, names, brandHref, links, actionLabel, actionHref; music, musicLabel, playingLabel, snowToggle, snowLabel, placement, spy; accent and background, tone. Keep as installed: the button-016 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the bulb garland along the bottom edge with its rare twinkle, going out on scroll; cream text with a shadow over the photo before scrolling and frosted glass after.
Is Header with a bulb garland and a snow switch free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports button-016 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. One file, zero npm dependencies, “use client” for scroll, the scroll spy, music and snow. A position:fixed <header> (placement=static puts it in the flow for previews); the [data-part=veil] backdrop with backdrop-filter appears on data-scrolled (scrollY>40, first read from rAF) and when the menu is open; before scrolling the text is cream with a shadow. The garland is two SVGs viewBox 1000×20: the wire in arcs (Q segments) and 28 bulbs in the sags, twinkling via keyframes with nth-child delays; on scroll it lifts and fades. The monogram is two letters and an SVG snowflake slowly rotating. Sections are Cormorant small caps, the active one gets a candle dot underneath via IntersectionObserver (rootMargin -40 %/-55 %), aria-current. The snow button is aria-pressed, sets data-vibeui-snow="off" on <html> and dispatches vibeui-snow (background-006 listens). Music is <audio loop preload=none>, play() only on click, lines breathe via keyframes. Below 60rem the names and sections move into [data-part=sheet] behind “Menu”. Palette --vibeui-navbar-027-* is neutral: ink and paper via light-dark(), the site colours come through the accent, ink and background props; dark theme via .dark/[data-theme] or tone. Cormorant Garamond, Marck Script and Manrope come via <link precedence> from Google Fonts with system fallbacks. accent and background override colours, prefers-reduced-motion disables animations.
