Volume Calculator
A volume price calculator: a slider, a tiered rate and a live total. The sum is accumulated tier by tier, so the next thousand costs less than the last.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the eyebrow and title copy and the unitLabel and unitOne captions
- the min and max bounds, the step and the starting defaultVolume
- the base fee and the tiers array
Built from
The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ
- How do I add Volume Calculator with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Volume Calculator depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: button-016, heading-001, slider-001.
- What can I change in Volume Calculator?
- Adapt: the eyebrow and title copy and the unitLabel and unitOne captions; the min and max bounds, the step and the starting defaultVolume; the base fee and the tiers array. Keep as installed: the button-016, heading-001, slider-001 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; "use client" at the top of the file: the section computes the sum in place, and without state the slider is decoration; the tiered calculation instead of a single rate: one rate across the whole volume creates a price jump at the tier boundary and reads as a trick.
- Is Volume Calculator free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports button-016, heading-001, slider-001 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. A client component ("use client"): without state the slider stays decoration. One file, zero npm dependencies, and the --vibeui-pricing-006-* palette is declared through light-dark(), so the block follows the surrounding color-scheme; the section has no background by default and one is turned on by the background prop. The tiers are given as an array of "up to how much — at what rate", and the total is computed through the tiers in sequence rather than at one rate across the whole volume: that is how real volume pricing works and it avoids a price jump at a tier boundary. The value is announced through aria-live and the active tier is highlighted. The slider is a native input type=range with the track and thumb styled for WebKit and Gecko.
