Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-carousel-010-* variables. A client component ("use client") — the edge state is computed on scroll. The rail stays native scrolling with scroll-snap: finger and wheel work on their own. The arrow step equals the card width plus the gap, so the rail stops exactly on a card rather than halfway. The edge position is recomputed in the onScroll handler and once after mounting: the buttons are switched off with the disabled attribute rather than a style, so that they drop out of the tab order.
