Carousel

Cube Carousel

A carousel on the faces of a cube: every step turns the volume a quarter and the next face rolls into the frame with an overshoot.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • faces — exactly four labels in the order the cube walks them
  • label — the name of the carousel
  • hint — the caption under the cube; empty means no caption

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Cube Carousel with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Cube Carousel depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Cube Carousel?
Adapt: faces — exactly four labels in the order the cube walks them; label — the name of the carousel; hint — the caption under the cube; empty means no caption. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-carousel-019-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-card, border-border and the like); the spring linear(…) curve together with the cubic-bezier line before it: the first is there for older browsers, the second gives the overshoot; the pair of perspective on the scene and transform-style: preserve-3d on the cube — without them the faces collapse into a stack.
Is Cube Carousel free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/carousel-019.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-carousel-019-* variables. A client component: useState keeps the number of turns rather than an index, so the cube keeps spinning one way instead of unwinding three quarters back when the last face gives way to the first. Four faces are placed by a rotation and a push out to half the edge, and the cube itself is pulled back by the same half — the centre of rotation stays in the middle of the frame. The edge comes from the size prop in rem and the face depth is derived from it with calc. The frame is declared aria-roledescription, the faces out of view are aria-hidden and the status line is a live region.
