Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-carousel-011-* variables. A client component ("use client") — the timer lives in useEffect and is recreated on every review change. The pause is made up of three sources: hover and focus set held, and the button toggles playing. prefers-reduced-motion is checked through matchMedia on mount and simply switches the show off: motion here is an action rather than decoration, so it has to be cancelled entirely. The quote height is fixed with min-height so that the page does not jump on a change.
