Expiry Badge

An expiry badge whose wording changes along with the tone: "21 days left", "expires in 3 days", "expires today", "overdue".

What you can change

  • the number of days through days
  • the warning threshold through warnAt
  • the wording through stateText: the {days} placeholder receives the number with its word

Technical notes

One file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-badge-020-* variables. Server rendered: no hooks. The state is derived from the number of days and the warnAt threshold and goes into data-state, which changes only --hue and --chroma — four tones rest on two variables. The colour is not the main thing here: each state has wording of its own, so the term is clear in a black-and-white list and aloud in a screen reader. The number is declined through Intl.PluralRules: the language rules come from locale and the word forms from the dayForms prop, so "11 дней" is correct without exceptions hard-coded into the component. The clock is inline SVG under aria-hidden.
