Sticky Sections

Disclosures inside a scrolling card: the section heading sticks to the top and stays there until the next one pushes it away.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the heading through the title prop
  • the sections array and its open flags
  • the maximum scroll height

FAQ

How do I add Sticky Sections with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Sticky Sections depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Sticky Sections?
Adapt: the heading through the title prop; the sections array and its open flags; the maximum scroll height. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-collapsible-010-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the card's own scroll container: without it position:sticky pins to the window instead; the opaque background on summary — otherwise list rows show through the sticky heading.
Is Sticky Sections free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/collapsible-010.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-collapsible-010-*. It is a server component: there are no hooks. Scrolling is confined to the [data-part="scroll"] container with max-height and overscroll-behavior:contain, while the summary inside it gets position:sticky and top:0 — the pinning works only because the scroll container is its own rather than the window. The total number of items is computed from the sections array and printed in the card header.
