Diff Lines

A file diff: added and removed lines carry a sign as well as a tint, so they read without colour too. Change the lines and the file heading.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the diff rows through the lines array with its kind field
  • the file path through path
  • the counters through showStats

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Diff Lines with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Diff Lines depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Diff Lines?
Adapt: the diff rows through the lines array with its kind field; the file path through path; the counters through showStats. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-codeblock-005-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the sign next to the colour: a tint alone is unreadable for colour blindness and in print; the sign in ::before rather than in the text — otherwise plus and minus land in the clipboard.
Is Diff Lines free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/codeblock-005.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-005-* variables. Server component: no hooks. A line arrives as an object with a kind field (add, del or nothing); the sign is printed by ::before, so it does not get into the copied fragment, and the row tint is set with a translucent colour over the block background. The counters of added and removed lines are computed from the same data as the markup, so they cannot diverge from the content. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the block has no surface by default, and the row tints stay translucent and work in both themes.
