Code Block
Version Stamp
A code sample with a shelf life: the version and the check date sit in the header, and a stale flag repaints the stamp and rewrites the footer note.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the sample code through code
- the version through version
- the date through date and its caption through dateLabel
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Version Stamp with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Version Stamp depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Version Stamp?
- Adapt: the sample code through code; the version through version; the date through date and its caption through dateLabel. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-codeblock-020-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; one source of state: both the stamp and the note are painted by stale, or the block lies; the machine-readable dateTime on the time element — a visible date alone is useless to parsers.
- Is Version Stamp free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/codeblock-020.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-020-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The stale flag lives on the root as a data attribute, and the stamp colour, the footer badge and the caption text all depend on it — they cannot be knocked out of sync. The date is rendered with a time tag carrying a machine-readable dateTime, so both parsers and screen readers understand it. The version stamp is a badge with a dot in a pseudo-element, and the environment is moved to the right as a monospace caption.
