Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-codeblock-024-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the placeholders for missing rows: without them the other pane slides up and the comparison breaks; the sign in the pane caption next to the colour: a tint alone is unreadable for colour blindness.

Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-024-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The panes get the same rows array, so the lines always stand opposite each other; a missing line is drawn as a placeholder with a different surface, and the number counter skips it — the numbering stays correct for each version separately. The layout is computed from the block's own width: below 34rem the panes stack one under the other, beyond that they split the width in half, and the rules sit on the inner [data-part="shell"].
