Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-codeblock-026-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The hatching is a separate layer in ::after with pointer-events: none — the text itself must not be dimmed, it is meant to be read and has to stay selectable with a mouse. The ban on editing is declared three times: by the lock badge in the header, by the hatching and by the caption under the code that names the real place to edit. The palette is built on light-dark(): the block has no surface, and the code plate and the hatching are translucent layers, so the listing reads on a light page as well as on a dark one.
